Training Courses

Mat Level 1
The ‘Pilates Mat Level 1’ (Pilates Principles for Fitness Professionals) course is our foundation course.
In this two-day course you will learn the history of Pilates, the Pilates principles, the basic Pilates repertoire and be given the tools to integrate Pilates either in the PT or group environment. This course is ideal for the Personal Trainer or Group Exercise instructor who wants to introduce the Pilates principles

Mat Level 3
The ‘Pilates Mat Level 3’ course is a one – day course that covers the remaining repertoire of the original classical 34 exercises. You will learn about the Classical exercise order and how to put a Classically inspired class together. This workshop also focuses on your teaching skills and communication within a group situation. The ‘Pilates Mat Level 3’ course is also the final portion of Unit APMPME402 – Plan and deliver Authentic Pilates Mat exercise sessions, in the Certificate IV in the Authentic Pilates Method (10644NAT).

Reformer Level 2
The ‘Pilates Reformer Level 2′ course, is a 1 day course delivered face-to-face, it is designed for intermediate practitioners or those who have completed a Level 1 Reformer course. This workshop aims to deepen participants’ knowledge of advanced Pilates Reformer exercises, including Classical, Contemporary, and Jumpboard variations. At the completion of this course, participants will be proficient in these exercises, able to teach them confidently, and equipped to apply safety measures effectively. Additionally, they will expand their capacity to assess and correct technique for both their own practice and for their participants.

Mat Level 2
The ‘Pilates Mat Level 2’ course is a two day course that expands on the repertoire of the ‘Pilates Mat Level 1’ (Pilates Principles for Fitness Professionals) course. You will learn about the ‘Traditional’ Pilates format and exercises and then how to modify them for the Fitness environment. This course is ideal for the Personal Trainer or Group Exercise instructor who wants to take their Pilates to the next level.

Pilates Reformer
The ‘Authentic Pilates Reformer’ course is a three day course that builds on the information learned in the ‘Pilates Mat Level 1’ course and expands them onto the ‘Reformer Bed’. You will learn a full Level 1 Reformer repertoire drawing from the Classical/Authentic method as well as ‘Fitness Pilates’ exercises. Our training will equip you to start teaching Pilates Reformer classes in the Health Club environment, in your Personal Training or Pilates business. Email us for a full course outline.

Pilates for Pregnancy
This workshop is designed to introduce you to how you can use Pilates as a great form of exercise during your client’s pregnancy and post-partum. We will give you a number of ideas and exercises specific to each trimester and the post-partum period. All exercises and session plans are created in accordance with Victorian Government (Better Health) and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (ACOG). Designed for the existing Pilates instructor to add to their repertoire or for the fitness professional who wants to expand their knowledge about keeping healthy, pregnant clients safe.

The ‘Authentic Pilates Reformer’ course is a three day course that builds on the information learned in the ‘Pilates Mat Level 1’ course and expands them onto the ‘Reformer Bed’.
